Expression of interest in hosting an ABI Node

The African Bioinformatics Institute (ABI) will commence operations in 2025 as a distributed institution with a Hub hosting the administration and central services, and Nodes specializing in research, training, provision of services, or support for strategic projects.

The present form is collecting information from individuals and institutions interested in hosting the Hub or a Node. Your responses will be used to gauge the interest of the community in joining the ABI, and to help in the selection of a location for the Hub and of candidate Nodes. Please note that final decisions will be facilitated by the ABI leadership, with strong input from its Scientific Advisory Board and from a wide variety of stakeholders. Also note that it may take you some time to collect and fill out the information requested in this form, thanks already for doing so carefully.
