The African Bioinformatics Institute (ABI) has been established to lead and coordinate the field of bioinformatics across Africa. The institute aims to create a robust network of computational biologists and data scientists throughout the continent. With a vision to advance bioinformatics, the ABI seeks to build the necessary infrastructure for managing and analysing life science data, enhance education and training, and promote collaborative research and innovation across various sectors.

The ABI is setting up a mailing list for future communications, if you are interested in receiving communications with updates on the ABI including training events, networking opportunities, development of working groups and future collaborations please opt in below. We would also like to hear from you about training needs and interest in forming communities of practice. If you are only interested in joining the mailing list you can ignore sections 2-5 but remember to click "Submit".
